Maintenance tags

(Reply to Dane, who is in a revert war on this article): Dane, this article is a perfectly fine start class article. Its every bit as good as, or better than most other start-class articles. There is no valid reason to gum it up with maintenance templates. There are a million or more WP articles that are in just as bad a shape as this one, or are considerably worse. If you feel the need to tag articles for maintenance, go tag the B-class articles, get them up to speed. Tagging articles like this one is utterly pointless. There's much much more that can be written about Sybil attacks, and there are dozens of white papers and technologies and github repos dealing with identity control. If you actually know something about this, then improve this article. Please do not waste your time, and my time in a stupid revert war. If you are not an expert in this field, please do not get involved! 42.2.31.24 (talk) 03:26, 3 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

About half the article is inside a {{Citation needed span}}. It's good to warn readers about original research, but this is overkill, especially given the banner at the top. The huge spans are just confusing; it looks as though someone forgot to close a tag. Please be more judicious with that template.

spurious redirect

This article is redirected from Democracy Earth which is not mentioned anywhere in the article. I see no reason for a unmentioned phrase being the subject of a redirect. The consequence is a reader looking up a phrase and receiving no explanation about the phrase of interest. Furthermore in this instance, I can see little connection between Democracy Earth and the idea of a Sybil Attack Please change this. JRGp (talk) 19:27, 30 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
