Lyrics edit

Corrected lyrics to "expect" per original recording [[1]] and various lyric sheets.

Why is there no source cited for the lyrics? Gil gosseyn (talk) 10:50, 5 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Credit to Mick Taylor? edit

I seem to recall that Mick Taylor has claimed credit for writing or co-writing "Sway". Do we have some info about that one way or the other? If it isn't definitely settled, should we just report the claim? Best wishes and have a great day. 69.161.25.98 (talk) 22:25, 27 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

I've read Taylor's claim, but no other reports on that, so that's not enough to alter the song authorship in Wikipedia (WP:PRIMARY), as it was some time ago. Now, I would favour including the claim in the article text. Something like Mick Taylor claims that the song was actually written by Jagger and himself, though it is credited to Jagger / Richards and a citation leading to that claim.--Gorpik (talk) 08:52, 28 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Once again, Mick Taylor has never provided any evidence to prove that he cowrote "Sway" and he may merely have arranged guitar parts, but expecting to receive writing credits for arranging guitar parts is not only unreasonable, but also unrealistic at best. I myself initially believed him at face value when he stated this, but now I take it with a grain of salt. 27.32.188.134 (talk) 05:06, 25 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Move discussion in progress edit

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Aftermath (The Rolling Stones album) which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 10:31, 23 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

This issue was resolved in September 2019 by moving page "Sway (The Rolling Stones song)" to "Sway (Rolling Stones song)". — CuriousEric 16:55, 4 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
