Flying?

edit

I think I remember reading somewhere that the super pill lets Pac-Man fly, and this is why he gets bigger and is invulnerable when he eats it. If this is true, it should be added to the article. Does anyone have any information on this? --Burgercat 19:41, 9 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

If that's the case, then how can he eat the same fruits and power pellets when he is on the ground and when he is in the air?24.46.76.144 (talk) 03:33, 5 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Well in the first act pac man is being chased by the ghosts, and goes off screen then flies above the ghosts. Mane that means nothing but its worth a try! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.167.97.218 (talk) 14:44, 3 May 2009 (UTC) Reply

Well, this might be an EXTREMELY late response, but he only flies above the ghosts in a cutscene, right after round 2. It seems like the ghosts become scared of you and crouch when you become super. But no, he doesn't fly above anything, Super Pellets just make Pac-Man HUGE. CreeperDudeBro (talk) 19:53, 5 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Entering the Ghost House

edit

The article says "Pac-man can enter the ghost house in this (super) state too, able to eat hiding ghosts." Actually Pac-Man can also enter the ghost house when he is in his normal (vulnerable) state. Although it's usually not a good idea for obvious reasons, it's still possible, and the above sentence implies otherwise.Darren delgado (talk) 15:32, 21 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Pop-Up Blurb on the Main Site

edit

When you are on the home area, with just the Wikipedia logo and a search bar, when info on something drops down, it lists Super Pac-Man as a 2006 video game? Uhh... the game was released in 1982. It even says this in the infobox. CreeperDudeBro (talk) 19:53, 5 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Was Toru Iwatani actually involved with this title?

edit

This Wikipedia page and a few other sources list him for the planning on this game but others have contradicted this by crediting a designer named Yasunori Yamashita instead. In addition, Iwatani's philosophy is that games should be simple with many people believing Super Pac-Man needlessly complex, and he even went as far as to say that this was not a very good sequel, which appears to be indicators that he may have not been involved on this Pac-Man installment. Either that or he came to regret the choices he made for this game later on. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.66.31.58 (talk) 23:48, 1 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Iwatani said he was in a position to see the game during it's development but that's the extent of his involvement.Domestic Weirdo (talk) 18:02, 19 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
