I'm sorry for starting this page - I stupidly thought the title was "Strange Playfellow" and stupidly created a redirect to Robbie. I've now fleshed out the page somewhat, and can hopefully add a basic plot description soon (because I have a copy of The Complete Robot and this story). Taerun 23:33, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

Hi sorry I changed first published in Galaxy to If Science Fiction, something doesn't look right about it, but I didn't know how to deal with the disambiguation issue with IF, please fix. By the time this story was published, IF Science Fiction Magazine had changed its name to Worlds of IF science Fiction.

I interpreted the ending differently

I didn't interpret the ending as an autistic human directing the robot. I think William modeled the computer after an autistic brain. I feel there's a difference. juancnuno (talk) 03:13, 6 June 2016 (UTC)
