Talk:Strandloper peoples

Etymology edit

I may be completely wrong about this but I was always led to believe that the integration into the term in Archaeology and Anthropology came from the use referring to the people's who created the Scandinavian Kitchen Middens (now known as Mesolithic and Neolithic - although some are as late as the Vikings). The Danish is Strandlooper. In either case it is an anthropological exonym and the politics of this article needs a tidy. PatHadley (talk) 21:13, 18 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • Strike that the South African sources are earlier. It must be the other way round. PatHadley (talk) 21:16, 18 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Terminology edit

This entry may need to be merged with one of the others on related topics, and all relevant terms properly explained and, where necessary, redirections added. There is overlap amongst the following: San people, Khoisan, Khoikhoi, Khoisan religion and possibly others. Genmel (talk) 10:21, 9 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
