I ssupect that this article and also that on Dudley (UK Parliament constituency) are misleading. I believe that Stourbridge was part of the pre-1974 Dudley constituency. The 1974 reorganisation involved a reorganisation of all the constituencies in Dudley Metropolitan Borough, so that the constituency boundaries excluded those parts of Brierley Hill (UK Parliament constituency) that reamined in Staffordshire. This involved splitting the old Dudley constituency and combining Stourbridge with Halesowen. Peterkingiron (talk) 09:23, 19 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
