Not a Copy Violation edit

The original text for this page shows word-for-word similarity with part of this. However, the external page shows a copyright of 2008, and refers to research undertaken following a visit of 9 August 2005. The history of this page begins 12 August 2005. My conclusion is that either: the IP who started this article, and the writer of the external page are one and the same person; or they both have taken from a third source, as yet unidentified. The former seems most likely to me. Jan1naD - (talk) 08:57, 2 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Other places with the same name edit

The name Statfold/Stotfold occurs in several places in Great Britain. There is a town in Bedfordshire. Older records refer to one in Morayshire, and one in County Durham. There may well be others, I haven't looked. Jan1naD - (talk) 21:04, 18 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
