Note on deletion edit
Note that a good deal of this article was removed by this edit. I would agree that the plot summary was overly long, but WP:PLOT is quite clear that "Plot-only description of fictional works." are inappropriate, whereas "A concise plot summary is sometimes appropriate as part of the larger coverage of a fictional work." - Ok, so post something concise. I deleted plot summary partly as an effort to rescue the article from a proposed AfD. It was pages long. Not averse to a concise plot summary being restored but consider this: the Condor Trilogy, an epic series of novels seen as the most important of a highly influential author's books has a shorter summary than this series that just barely meets WP:N.
