207.177.105.204 21:41, 21 September 2006 (UTC)Rüdiger Smith resident Every year the second to last Saturday in July there is a big celebration known as "Bratwurst Daze" this is when the communtiy club raises money for the town as well as crown Miss Stacyville. The day day starts off with activities such as waterballoon slingshots, dunk-tank, this year (2006) there was a lumberjack show,tractor square dancing, and an all day Dj. Complete with consessions available all day, of bratwurts and hamburgers and hot dogs as well as pepsi products and snow-conesReply

           Then as the evening draws closer the parade begins. The parade has exactly what you would expect a small town of 469 to have, police cars and fire-trucks, horses and buggies, local shops advertise themselves  and the candidates for Miss Stacyville ride through in convertibles.
           Finally come nighttime the celebration begins. The lights turn on in the basketball court and the stands open up. The once basketball court tuns into a rave almost instantly. Alcohol becomes available and glow necklaces become sold and nadness breaskout it has already been said; its a rave.
