I think this article could be expanded with more info on the kidnapping itself and how it turned out, but I can't find any easily accessible English language sources. Also a previous version of this article contained the phrase "cultural state" which as far as I can tell is not a thing in English and was introduced in translation so if anyone could clarify that it would be great.
