Split articles
editIn my humble opinion, we don’t need several articles for split releases; one will do. The German Wikipedia has one single article and several redirects, so why shouldn’t we proceed the same way here? Why should we have several articles for split albums, split EPs and so on if one split release article would do? Rotten Bastard 14:34, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
Stereo split single
editI have a split single of the Dutch rock band Van Katoen with rap act Osdorp Posse which works in a different manner: The first track has the song from Van Katoen in one stereo channel and the song from Osdorp Posse in the other. To listen to one separately you would have to turn off one audio channel or turn the balance to one channel fully on your set or music player on the computer. Track two and three contain the songs from Van Katoen and Osdorp Posse separately.
I was wondering if this is rare or even unique way of doing a split single or if there are more of these? If the latter is the case it might be worth nothing something about it in the article.

Yes, I have heard that that split single. Well, very few split singles ever do that. So it is very rare. Pamronhook (talk) 13:39, 30 August 2016 (UTC)
