Workplan for updates

I plan to use the manual of style and update the headers accordingly. I will do a literature search and fill in content where needed with appropriate references, links, and images. Finally, I will respond to peer review comments. I will update this workplan with my working outline. It appears that I may have to change the current headings on the page to fit the preferred format I found on the manual of style for surgeries/devices. The headings will likely be as follows.

• Contra-indications
• Risks/Complications
• Technique
• Recovery or Rehabilitation
• History
• Society and culture
• Special populations
• Other animals

Rechargeable IPG

I am adding this quote from Eellan Sivanesan, M.D. of John Hopkins Medicine in an attempt to seek responses related to successful uses of the implanted device. The rechargable IPG definition accurately describes devices received by my daughter by NEVRO and has inspired me to research all that I can about successes of these devices

“Rechargeable IPG works similarly to the conventional device, with the difference that the battery can be recharged without another surgery. Because the energy source is rechargeable, these stimulators can put out more electricity.
