References edit

Refs are required from a third-party publication. Olz see policy wikipedia:no original research. mikka (t) 16:57, 10 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

See the newly installed links from other web-sites. See also the links to the interviews of various authors in the sections devoted to said individuals. I trust this is enough? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.110.31.156 (talkcontribs).

Oh, you can do a lot better than that, being a literary magazine. Have a look at WP:CITE and WP:FOOT. There are handy templates on Citation templates. Check out something like Douglas Adams to see decent refs in action. Actually in the text, if you just put:

<ref>Description of the reference here</ref>

it will then show up automatically under references lower down.

At the bottom of the page, above external links section you put:

==Notes and references==
<references/>

The first time you have a ref in an article, you can name it, if you want:

<ref name=fred>Description of the reference here</ref>

Then any other time you use the ref subsequently, you put:

<ref name=fred/>

If you forget the /, then it blanks the rest of the article!

Good refs are the only way to create a credible article.

Link Removed edit

I have removed the link from editor Chris Mitchell to the wiki entry on Chris Mitchell the Australian journalist as they are definitely NOT the same person!
