It seems to me that famine was a contributing factor to failure to colonize. I have no direct reference to back this statement, but famine and lack of support was listed earlier in the article. 2600:6C48:7006:200:5C10:C716:750B:C3B2 (talk) 02:17, 11 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
