The worst thing about the game is that it asks you passwords that dont line up with the manual they are asking from. So if they ask for page 4 line 7 word 3, you type in all sorts of words that you might think are that word, trying to line it up and give them what they're asking. You only get about 4 tries and then the game takes itself off. After researching online, there is no site that I have found to just give you the damn passwords on a list. The game is from aroung 1991, I doubt if there are many people who would steal a game that old!

I am not sure what version of the game he is complaining about; the current releases for OSX and Palm OS do not ask for passwords from any manual. Uucp 19:13, 18 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Early (pre-www) versions required the user to enter a 'password' from the manual to activate the game. Zojj 03:01, 8 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

A long time ago there was once a way to play Spaceward Ho! over the internet (Before the Mac 5.0) . I belive the service was called outlander (I think), but I can't find any trace of it's existance. Has anyone else heard of this? ChaosChris 19:47, 19 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • Support. I remember this game. This move is pretty uncontroversial. --Usgnus 04:51, 21 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
