South Park season 21South Park (season 21) – The article title does not require disambiguation, however, the article name "South Park (season 21)" is locked for edit-warring. Djole 555 (talk) 19:13, 11 September 2017 (UTC)

@Djole 555: This sounds like a technical request requiring admin assistance, unless you think anyone would actually object. If you don't then please add a request at WP:RM/TR.--Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 19:29, 11 September 2017 (UTC)

  • Support, per TV naming conventions. WP:TVSEASON. -- Wikipedical (talk) 21:06, 11 September 2017 (UTC)
    • This page should be speedily deleted as a duplicate of the now-unprotected South Park (season 21) page. No move necessary. -- Wikipedical (talk) 16:44, 12 September 2017 (UTC)

  • Comment: I put full protection on South Park (season 21) because of an edit war reported at WP:AN3. In the past, most South Park seasons have had their own articles. For Season 21, people had argued that season articles shouldn't exist until such time as there was some real content available, not just airdates. Now that this move discussion has been advertised, perhaps we will get some opinions from people familiar with South Park and with TV series generally, and a consensus can be formed. • Obvious Support – I am creating a technical request to have this done. JE98 (talk) 10:58, 12 September 2017 (UTC)
  • 1000% Support - I was one of the editors involved in this dispute, and my resolution still stands -- the article should exist, especially now with the season beginning in one day and an actual press release announcing the first episode exists. - SanAnMan (talk) 13:07, 12 September 2017 (UTC)

South Park season 21South Park (season 21) – Per the discussion at Talk:South Park season 21#Requested move 11 September 2017, this should have been a technical request. JE98 (talk) 11:00, 12 September 2017 (UTC)

This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 11:42, 12 September 2017 (UTC)
  • @JE98: There is already an edit history at South Park (season 21), and I have restored it to text. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 11:42, 12 September 2017 (UTC)
  • The text has been restored, but editing needs to be able to resume on the original article South Park (season 21), especially more so now that the season is about to begin. 100% support blowing this article and redirecting to main article once editing has been restored. I have submitted a request to have the original article unprotected. - SanAnMan (talk) 12:57, 12 September 2017 (UTC)
