The median income is greatly inflated for the area edit

Please cite your actual sources for the median income level. A specific source is preferred as the average for all census tracts combined in South Chicago is equal to approximately 26,149. This is determined by first identifying all the census tracts that exist in the boundaries of South Chicago. Which includes tracts 460100, 460200, 460300, 460400, 460500, 460600, 460700, 460800, 460900, 461000. These can be located here.

Second discovering the data per tract leaves the following numbers: 9853, 18542, 24375, 20661, 32500, 36840, 36926, 30187, 20963, 30650.

These can be found here:

and here

A simple average can be determined by adding all the results above and dividing by the number of items. This has not been adjusted yet to give the initial poster time to justify their reasoning for the inflated rate. However, it is critical to many in the area that data be posted correctly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.206.210.18 (talk) 07:33, 5 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Donne Trotter in Notable People section edit

Donne Trotter is regarded as a notable person in the Notable People section of the article, but his Wikipedia article doesn't show any direct connection to South Chicago Community specifically. In addition, other Chicago communities, such as South Shore, and Calumet Heights, don't list him as a notable person, even though his influence in those areas would be equivalent to his influence in South Chicago. Should he be removed from the Notable People section for South Chicago, or is there something I'm missing? RiskierGoose340 (talk) 01:16, 26 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
