Article name

User:Rathfelder has moved the article twice now to South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, the original move was reverted and challenged as a move away from what is the common name. Where is your evidence that this is the common name? It is clearly not the legal name. A google search for South Central Ambulance Service brings up sources which us the FT title as much as those without. This is a statutory organisation. It changed its name. Wikipedia policy is to use official names in article titles Wikipedia:Naming conventions (government and legislation)Rathfelder (talk) 16:10, 26 December 2014 (UTC)

I have raised it at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Medicine/Emergency medicine and EMS task force#South Central Ambulance Service as we normally use the common name on wikipedia, a quick search finds that it is normally refered to as the South Central Ambulance Service or SCAS in the media and that is true for all the ambulance services. Where we live the ambulance service is generally known as NWAS.but that is not its official name. Wikipedia policy is quite clear. Government agency articles should be given their official name. Rathfelder (talk) 18:54, 31 December 2014 (UTC)

Wikipedia is also clear that we should use the common name not the official name, you will need to get consensus to change that approach on these articles. MilborneOne (talk) 18:56, 31 December 2014 (UTC)

Area that SCAS serves?

Arrirdong to this article's infobox, South Central Ambulance Service does not serve the Isle of Wight. According to their respective Wikipedia articles, neither South East Coast Ambulance Service nor South Western Ambulance Service serves the Wight either. This implies the Wight has no ambulance service except Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.

I have looked on the SCAS website but failed to find a clear, concise statement of what area it serves. SCAS's Annual Report mentions the Wight, but I have not found a definitive statement as to whether SCAS serves the Wight for all purposes. Someone operates NHS ambulances on the Wight. Please will someone clarify who it is?
