I'm going to ask for a citation for the above. South Africa does have a high crime rate, but it has not been demonstrated that that is actually a 'push factor' i.e a cause of emigration from South Africa to the UK. Seems odd that someone like Joan Collins, born in London to a British and a South African parent, raised in the UK and never (as far as I know) lived in South Africa, is listed as a South African in the UK.
