- On the other hand, there seem to be plenty of people whose name are spelled as Sørensen when in Denmark, and Sorensen abroad, due to typographic limitations. E.g. "Henning Sorensen, a multilingual Danish journalist with Canadian connections" ( http://ats.ctsnetjournals.org/cgi/content/full/70/5/1746?maxtoshow=&HITS=10&hits=10&RESULTFORMAT=&fulltext=pneumonectomy&searchid=1&FIRSTINDEX=100&resourcetype=HWFIG ) - I'd suspect that back home in Denmark they wrote his name with a "ø"....
