One of the reviewers here states that the lens elements are manufactured by Carl Zeiss at their factory in Germany: http://www.amazon.com/Sony-SAL-135F18Z-Sonnar-Telephoto-Digital/dp/B000JE5CIC If this is correct, is it accurate to say that the lens is manufactured under license by just Sony? Should this article be renamed as "Sony Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* 135mm f/1.8 ZA lens"? ChristopherBorcsok (talk) 16:22, 12 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • In general I couldn't find "Sony Sonnar T* 135mm f/1.8 ZA" used anywhere on the Sony/Zeiss website. All they do is using simply Sonnar T* 135mm F1.8 ZA or Carl Zeiss® 135mm f/1.8 Lens - sonystyle - therefore I recommend moving the page to Sony Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* 135mm f/1.8 ZA lens - should be a nice compromise between the fact that it's Zeiss lens produced by Sony. Either way - for sure the current "Sony Sonnar T* 135mm f/1.8 ZA" is inappropriate name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by SkywalkerPL (talkcontribs) 15:41, 17 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
