Watch the Gangland episode on the History Channel for Sons of Silence. You'll notice that almost the entire SoA season 1 was taken directly from this coverage of the SoS. The "A" as a central theme in the logo, the gun running, the underlying story of the founder(s) having a struggle with the direction of the club and the subsequent violence. This article is out of control. It is not meant to be an exhaustive narrative of every single thing that happens in the TV show. At most it should be a short article describing the club, its role in the show, and its key members. Anything else is original research, which has no place in an encyclopaedia. There is a Wiki already set up for fans of the series and people who want to build an exhaustive Sons of Anarchy resource - it is called SAMCROpedia and can be found at http://sonsofanarchy.wikia.com/wiki/Sons_of_Anarchy If that is what floats your boat, then please redirect your efforts along the WIkia way. --Biker Biker (talk) 14:32, 18 October 2011 (UTC)
- This needs to be addressed. Otherwise this should be WP:PROD. This article is just terribly written, and why does it even need its own article? The show article itself can hold almost all of this info, in a summarized plot section. There is so much information duplicated here, it's just a waste of space. I will check back in a month or so, and probably propose it for deletion, I'd like to hear some other voices here. Vice president edit
In Season 1, across the first 5 episodes, the patch V. President is clearly visible on Jax' jacket on his right hand side. I'm not sure why Opie is listed as the V. President since it's quite clear that he is a semi-active member.
