editMr. Somanath Mekapotula was one of the known Art Directors in Chennai (Former Madras), capital city of Tamil Nadu state in India. He worked for more than 100 films in Telugu and Tamil languages. He worked majorly with Dr. Rajashekar, a Telugu actor and Mr. Bhagyaraja, Tamil actor and many other actors. He died in 1992 at the age of 55, at Vijaya Hospital, Chennai.
He deserves a place in Wiki as he is famous in both Telugu and Tamil cine fields.
I need some time to collect more information and entire list of movies he worked for.
