Note that "The solicitor general of Florida or Florida solicitor general" is correct because "solicitor general" is modified by "The" and "Florida" (see "Richard Nixon was the president of the United States." and "A controversial US president, Richard Nixon, resigned." in MOS:JOBTITLES and "The president of the United States (POTUS)" in President of the United States.)
