Question / suggest clarification of contrast with slow reading rate in children

With regard to the negative aspects of "slow reading," children having difficulty learning to read and therefore reading slowly is very different from voluntary slow reading for a particular purpose.
I'm not familiar enough with the topic of volitional slow reading to add this, but I suggest that the contrast is significant and that this differentiates research about slow reading rates due to reading dysfluency.

Your point is well taken, Rosmoran. I did not want to skip that research altogether, but as you say, there is an important difference. I have edited that portion. Is the new version a sufficient improvement? (Thanks for your other improvements).

- I think the revision is fine for now. The section is a bit stilted, but it's clear that this is a fairly "young" article, and I'm sure that the overall style will improve as the content and organization solidifies.
