Oil/Gas? edit

Isn't there an onshore oil or gas field in this area? 86.17.211.191 00:28, 12 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Info on Singleton Oil FieldThe whole area was seismically surveyed in the late 60s as I remember and there is a producing field near Storrington. Drilling at Graffham failed to find commercial quantities I believe.(Charles 08:09, 12 September 2007 (UTC))Reply

Merge proposal edit

Guidelines at Wikipedia:WikiProject UK geography/How to write about settlements state that ideally the civil parish should be the catch-all article, avoiding single line articles on every village and landmark within the parish.

Therefore, I suggest that villages within the parish with a one or two sentence article, ie Charlton, West Sussex to be merged and redirected to this parish article. ++ MortimerCat (talk) 16:23, 5 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Cricket field edit

This article needs a good pic of the cricket field in summer, surely one of the prettiest cricket fields in England? Tony Holkham (Talk) 13:53, 13 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
