Rich French heritage?
editI have removed the "Rich French heritage..." statement.
1. It is unsubstantiated
2. The only mention of "French heritage" I can find about the area is a business in nearby High Point, NC, called "French Heritage Reproductions" which makes furniture, and
3. I grew up in the area, and in 35 years I've been doing genealogical research in Davidson County, NC, I have never heard of any "French heritage" in Silver Valley.
If you can support the "Rich French heritage" assertion, please revert my change, add your citation, and accept my apologies.
