Sorry for the delay. I was very busy with numerous reviews and two FACs! Now, as promised... JAGUAR  18:01, 15 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Initial comments edit

  • "(Behold, I will send out many fishers)" - should be (English: Behold, I will send out many fishers) per other articles
most others don't have that, but if you wish ;) --GA
  • "The cantata text resembles works which his Johann Ludwig Bach set to music" - this doesn't make sense, his Johan Ludwig Bach?
"second cousin" added, sorry --GA
  • "to be performed before and after the sermon" - any specific sermon?
the sermon in the service in which the cantata was performed, compare BWV 76 --GA
  • The image caption of batch needs to be a little more informative per WP:CAPTION. Something like Portrait of Johann Ludwig Bach in year x?
sigh, date is given as ca. 1780, which is about 50 years after he died, - would find that more confusing than illuminating (same for a famous portrait by Mozart, btw) --GA
  • "Movement 4 is a scene from the gospel" - movement four?
movements with numerals, consistently, because of the numbers in the table, - vs. "fourth stanza" if there was one
  • " (Fear not, from henceforth thou shalt catch men.)" - full stop after bracket
yes --GA

References edit

fixed --GA
  • Ref 2 is missing an access date
No access date for published books, no? --GA

On hold edit

Those were the only prose issues I could find. I feel that the music subsections could be expanded slightly, but if there is no information out there then it should be OK to let go. This article is comprehensive enough for the GA criteria, so once all of the above are clarified then this should be good to go. Sorry for the delay in reviewing these again, I should be able to review more very soon.   JAGUAR  18:26, 15 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please have a look. My enthusiasm for adding more to music is limited, my eyes are already on the next ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:49, 15 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
Thanks Gerda! This should be good to go now. Sorry for mentioning that "English" should be in the lead, I'll try to avoid that for other Bach articles I review. It's usually that it's included in other articles such as films and literature. Anyway, thanks for addressing them so quickly!   JAGUAR  18:52, 15 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
