Rewrite
editThis is just a note that I am planning to revise and rewrite this article over the next few weeks, alongside Siege of Calvi and Siege of Saint Florent and with the creation of a new collective article Invasion of Corsica (1794). This is part of a many year operation to create comprehensive Wikipedia coverage of the naval operations of the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars, as seen on my userpage. This will entail substantial revision of the current text, but may still include sourced information from the current version. Should any regular editors of this page with to discuss this plan with me before or after I do it, please drop me a line. Best regards --Jackyd101 (talk) 06:55, 2 September 2017 (UTC)
- I am about to upload the four new articles discussed above, expanded, sourced and collected as a coherent series. I will copy and paste the new text into this article from my workspace. For the edit history of that space, see the redirect User:Jackyd101/Siege of Bastia. Any comments, questions or concerns hit me up here or at my talk page.
