I'm uncomfortable with this article revealing how David Palmer dies in Season 5. edit

Because Sherry Palmer dies in Season 3 then it can be assumed that readers who have only watched up to Season 3 may safely read it. I don't think David's death should be included here, --MSTK 20:55, 3 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

I completely agree, it's an unncessary addition in the first place. Her character is dead, that is all the article needs to incorporate. Daydream believer2 10:52, 5 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Ironically, having only watched up through Season 3, it was solely your comment on this talk page that spoiled that for me. Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.75.45.126 (talk) 07:42, 18 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Merger edit

The character was major in seasonsone less major in season two and major in season three she is now dead amot going to return and with 8-9 series and a film planned whe is now a major minor character. merge--Lucy-marie 16:51, 11 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Keep Sherry is not like the nobodies that have been merged. She has had a vast impact on the plot - facilitating David's downfall and being involved with the terrorists in Season 2 being the two major examples. asyndeton 17:05, 11 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Comment I'm all for getting rid of nobodies who don't deserve their own page but if we get rid of Sherry, then where does it all end? asyndeton 17:05, 11 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Keep as per above. And I agree, the user who proposed this merge has gotten a bit out of control. --T smitts 18:24, 14 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Keep and I think 'a bit out of control' is an understatement.

Agreed. Can we at least have some agreement on series regulars and/or characters who appeared over multiple seasons? If Sherry, who was indeed a regular and whose appearances spanned three seasons, is considered "minor", that will soon apply to pretty much any character not currently on the show. By merge proposer's logic, Teri, Nina, Wayne, and Curtis are already "minor" (as opposed to the contradictory description of being "a major minor character"). Also in just a few years, the likes of David Palmer, Michelle, and Audrey will all be considered "minor". Where does it end? --T smitts (talk) 06:25, 18 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Keep as much as I did not like this character she provided an important role in the first three seasons. Her death and her other actions were the reasons why David Palmer decided to stop his re-election campaign. I agree this whole thing has gotten crazy with these mergeres. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.184.83.137 (talk) 04:38, 24 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Keep as per above. And I totally agree with everything that's been said; Multiple season characters and main cast members all deserve their own articles because of this status. I also think a few big name villians deserve thier own articles (The Drazens, Habib Marwan, and DEFINETLY Christopher Henderson) as well. This whole merger really has gotten out of whack. And the worst part is, many merged articles/sections are of very poor quality.--Phoenixfan 13:15, 24 November 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.112.17.210 (talk) Reply

Keep for the reasons stated above. Lucy is out of control with these merger proposals. --MiB-24 (talk) 06:52, 30 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
