Merger Proposal

I just split it off from Smyrna Airport. Sewart AFB had quite a different purpose than Smyrna Airport does. The military article should be seperate from the civilian airport. Bwmoll3 (talk) 10:26, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

Indeed. Considering that at this point there is significantly more content to the AFB article than the actual Smyrna airport article, having them split is entirely appropriate. C7-A Training missing from Sewart history

The C-7A Caribou was another Training unit at Sewart AFB during the later years of Viet Nam war. I was there in Spring 1969 for Aircrew training.
