Why can't the song be tagged as "electroclash"? Although Ladytron deny being associated with the genre [1], "Seventeen" has been featured on several electroclash compilation albums [2][3] and the album "Light & Magic" has been described by critics as "electroclash" [4]. In Chart, Daniel Hunt denies Ladytron being apart of the electroclash scene, but states, "Probably the closest thing to electroclash is 'Seventeen.'"
