Fair use rationale for Image:Seoul (single).jpg

Image:Seoul (single).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Contesting the proposed deletion

First and foremost, do note that the 1000 copies limit is only applicable for the 12" vinyl. The Seoul single has been released in other formats (CD, 10" vinyl) as well, and the number of copies of these are not known.

Deleting the page for this single for the sole reason that it is not notable if only 1000 copies of the 12" vinyl has been released is I believe not motivation enough. Panic! at the Discos Live Session EP is only available as a digital download according to its own page which makes it not notable as it is by definition known that no physical copies of this EP has been manufactured. seoul is a single from a signed band (which has toured both europe and north-america extensively) and has been released in different formats (cd, vinyl and iTunes). as sebras pointed out only the vinyl release was limited to 1000 copies. i see no reason why this article should be deleted. --L!nus (talk) 12:00, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

Yes, I know. I wanted to bring the motivations for the page to exist up to scrutiny though. If solely I see reason for the page to exist that's great, but if the one flagging the page changes his/her decision then this means that the motivations for the page to exists were good from the start -- they were just not evident.
