Ad copyright issues edit

Part of the synopsis are indeed taken from the referenced page, which is written by the same author as the article. The author of the text found by the search bot has donated it to wikipedia. This will be indicated on the referenced page shortly.

Update: The license on the referenced page has been updated according to the instructions (see note towards the end on [[1]] - note the difference between licensing of the about page (CC-BY-SA / GDL) and the project itself (CC-BY-NC-SA).

Ad "promotion" edit

The subject of this page has been extensively referenced prominently in both printed and online international media, as well as in scientific publications. The article is written in an objective way, not promoting its subject in a biased way or making any subjective claims. All claims of the article are verifiable as stated in the Wikipedia Article standards. "Senghor on the rocks" is a work of electronic literature and as such has been included in the "E-Literature Collection, Volume II" of the Electronic Literature Organization. Media referencing the project include the Sydney Morning Herald, the Financial Times Germany, German "Bild Zeitung", Austrian Radio and several larger and smaller blogs and websites. These references are quoted in the article. The subject is therefore notable per the Wikipedia:Notability guideline - there are significant reliable, independent sources, that have given the subject significant coverage.

If the request for deletion is held up, we would like to be given the detailed criteria on which the deletion would be justified and the opportunity to improve the article in that respect.
