JIMMIE RODGERS had the hit with this song, NOT the Lettermen. edit

If Jimmie Rodgers had a big hit with "Secretly", and the Lettermen had a minor one, why should there be a big, hulking thing about the Lettermen's hit songs on this page? Does that make sense? I don't think it does.Slater79 00:15, 28 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I moved the Letterman infobox edit

I moved the Lettermen infobox to the bottom of article. I think that this makes sense, and is reasonable. Please contact me if you feel that it's not. Slater79 00:46, 28 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

meaning edit

The lyrics seem to have many meanings. It could be disapproval based on race, age, class etc. Perhaps that was the songwriter's intention? To be as general as possible? Obviously this is straight out of the 1950s along with the attitudes from that time. Narrowing it down to one modern interpretation in the main article feels like speculation and may be contrary what the songwriter intended (and there's no way of knowing that without a source).

By the way, anyone else think some of the melody sound similar to that of Silhouettes (The Rays song)? New5719 (talk) 00:58, 16 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
