I understand that one might want to rm unnecessary information, but the name of the organization of which this is the journal isn't peripheral information. Nor is the list of current editors. Some journal wiki pages have a detailed history of the journal with the name of editors who don't have their own wiki entry (see for instance Erkenntnis). I think that too much information was removed. Ycomt (talk) 02:30, 3 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, Ycomt, but I don't agree; and it seems that I am not alone. As I said in an edit summary, "if Matthews is notable, an article could be written about him"; but we don't need or want peripheral biographical details about him here. Nor do we want content closely paraphrased from the source. If this page says " … fosters collaboration among scientists, mathematicians, historians, philosophers, cognitive psychologists, sociologists, science and mathematics educators … ", then the article should not read " … promotes collaborations between scientists, mathematicians, historians, philosophers, cognitive psychologists, sociologists, and science and mathematics educators …", because that is unacceptably close to the (copyright) source. All content added to Wikipedia must be in your own words. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 09:09, 3 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

ISO 4 Abbreviated title edit

The abbreviated title is Sci. Educ. Is it possible to find another abbreviation that would distinguish it from the journal Science Education? Ycomt (talk) 14:02, 5 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
