You guys gotta stop denying not only the existence of Scene, but the UBUITQUITY of it. seriously, look at all these sites, it's not some obscure neologism:

To The Fellow Who Deleted the Scene Page

Please stop rendering Wikipedia useless. This site is intended to be informative. This means it is intended to bear information. Ideally, it is intended to be a place where one can look up information on a topic in which one is not already very well informed. Countless references to 'scene' kids have brought me around to Wikipedia, seeking some kind of knowledge from the collective in that regard. What I find instead is a page deletion, no restoration, and a redirect to this page, which does little to address my questions. Could somebody explain to me how having one more page of research and data was going to bankrupt Wikipedia? If this is because of some bizarre vendetta, be aware that I have no idea what the hell this "scene" crowd is about. I'm not part of that little war, whatever it may be. All I know is that, for some reason, somebody needlessly deleted a page and offered nothing in its place for an outsider like myself. 75.170.33.183 (talk) 19:50, 20 August 2011 (UTC)

Deleting an article on a neologism that has proven multiple times to not have received significant coverage in multiple reliable secondary sources does not "render Wikipedia useless". Wikipedia is not meant to be about everything, there are standards for the inclusion of topics. It is likely that "scene kids" and many other words and phrases you may hear bandied about the interwebz will not be covered, as they are not notable in the encylopedic sense (remember that "popular on the internet" ≠ "good topic for an encyclopedia article"), and information about them is difficult to verify from reliable sources. --IllaZilla (talk) 19:33, 21 August 2011 (UTC)
