There was apparently once a "Satnami Revolt" that's a notable peasant uprising; worth adding? MatthewVanitas (talk) 19:48, 10 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Gets more complicated, turns out there were several nearly-unrelated groups that used the term "Satnami". The one with the revolt is distinct from the one covered in this article, who are Chamars from Chhattisgarh. This book is antiquated, but has some good summary: Encyclopedia of Religion and Ethics, Part 21 By James Hastings. Pg 211. MatthewVanitas (talk) 20:28, 10 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
