There is historic information about the Jain poet Chikka Padmanna settru from Sankighatta has written Jain literary work. There are settru family members live in the same village.

There are many web sites/blogs with same information about Sankighatta. All the information are correct when compare to other sites.http://wikiedit.org/India/Sankighatta/218623/
