Could this give the answer to the number of commutes or tolls collected in a year? "Highway Statistics Receipts of Local Toll Facilities". U.S. Department of Transportation - Federal Highway Administration. Retrieved 2013-06-10.
- For 2007: $1,737,000 in receipts=868,500 times a year, since each pass is $2 ( =average estimate of 2,380 commutes per day? = 100 commutes per hour) -not including emergency vehicles and other vehicles that aren't required to pay at the toll
Is a toll also collected on the way back to Galveston Island? - Sidelight12 Talk 05:56, 16 June 2013 (UTC) Toll is collected both directions. - Sidelight12 Talk 03:09, 20 June 2013 (UTC)
