Foreign nationals
Only citizens of countries that recognise same-sex marriages can enter a registered partnership in Denmark.
Is that true? It sounds to me like that should be civil unions, not same-sex marriages. Can anyone confirm? René van Buuren 11:51, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Full Joint adoption

No, it can't be verified, as such a law has not been proposed yet. A Parliament resolution, which gained a small majority due to members of the Liberal Party voting in favour, bound the government to propose such a law amendment. The government has included the proposal in its law catalogue for 2009-2010, but the actual law has not been proposed, and therefore it has not come into effect yet. Moreover the exact date for its entry into effect is unknown. You can adopt your registered partner's biological child, since 1999, however. --87.52.28.248 (talk) 14:07, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
2010 parliamentary debate
The "Gay Guide" source given does not appear to be a news site. I do not read Danish but I cannot find any English-language news sources that say anything about a same-sex marriage bill being considered in Denmark this year, and it's the kind of story one would expect to percolate into translation by two months later if it were true.
