Contested deletion

edit

This article should not be speedy deleted as lacking sufficient context to identify its subject, because... I am in the process of completing this article which will be about the campaign incorporating the battles of Baiji, first and second battles of Tikrit into a cohesive campaign of the province. Thank you. --Parsa1993 (talk) 18:58, 8 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia articles cannot be used as test pages. In other words, your first edit should be like turning in a rough draft of an essay - it must be complete. Also, if this certain even is occouring at present, it may be too recent an article to post anyway. Carwile2 *Shoot me a message* 19:04, 8 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Contested deletion

edit

This article should not be speedy deleted as lacking sufficient context to identify its subject, because... As I mentioned before I am currently in the process of writing the article which encompasses quite a few battles including the Tikrit battles ad need some time to gather the sources and start editing them in. Thank you and please do not delete this article. --Parsa1993 (talk) 19:12, 8 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

As I mentioned afore, you should not post pages that are "a work in progress". Also, please do not delete CSD templates; As a user, you seem to have previous counts of edit warring, and any further misdemeanors could result in permanent account suspension. Wikipedia is not a place for incomplete articles. Carwile2 *Shoot me a message* 19:20, 8 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Campaign over?

edit

Isn't this campaign over with the capture of Shirqat? Or is there more to be liberated? —Nightstallion 14:02, 26 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
