Move

I think that the title should be changed to "Saint Francis' satyr" (take out the butterfly). Does anyone have a problem with moving the page? IronChris | (talk) 20:19, 21 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Moved!

Sorry, noticed this afterwards. Well, a satyr is a mythological creature and Satyrids have been named after these presumably for their preference of dark shady places as a general rule (with exceptions of course). The word '(butterfly)' is needed for disambiguation. And St francis is incorrect usage for a proper name. AshLin 20:29, 21 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

It's fine, I'll just check that there are appropriate redirects leading to this page. Thanks. IronChris | (talk) 20:39, 21 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
Done. I created a whole bunch or redirects (see what links here). IronChris | (talk) 21:01, 21 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Merger proposal

edit

@Lcroissant12 and Theroadislong: The new article St. Francis satyr butterfly has been created. I think the material from that article should be merged into this article which has been present since 2004. If there's no objection, I'll perform the merge in a week or so. SchreiberBike | ⌨  23:56, 7 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
