Canadian air dates edit

I saw a commercial advertising a 6:30pm EST series debut on Treehouse TV for this show, glad to see there's already an article, saves work.

In checking the guide on treehouse's site though http://archive.is/AKHSM it appears the episode from 6:30pm is also being broadcast at 6:30am so that is what I quoted.

Even this is not everything though. There is a discrepency between Treehouse's website schedule and the schedule which is displaying for me when I view it via my provider's schedule. I believe they may have done a last-minute change but forgot to update their website.

While the site correctly begins at 2:00 am with Diego / 2:30am Dora and Friends / 2:55am Team Umizoomi / , it ends there.

What the site lists afterward which I disagree with:

  • 3:20 AM Ni Hao, Kai-Lan Sports Day (CC)
  • 3:45 AM Bubble Guppies S3 Eps #003 Good Morning, Mr. Grumpfish! (CC/DV)
  • 4:10 AM Dora the Explorer Benny's Big Race (CC/DV)
  • 4:35 AM Sesame Street (30 mins) Sesame Street Season 38 Episode 4149 (CC)
  • 5:05 AM Peppa Pig Queen / Desert Island / Perfume / Children's Fete (CC)
  • 5:25 AM Hey Duggee S1 Eps #030 The Snowman Badge (CC/DV)
  • 5:35 AM The Octonauts Water Bears / Barracudas (CC/DV)
  • 6:00 AM #2 Hey (CC)
  • 6:05 AM Toopy & Binoo Vroom Vroom Zoom Shorts Pirate Adventure (CC/DV)
  • 6:12 AM Toopy & Binoo Vroom Vroom Zoom Shorts Treasure Chest (CC/DV)
  • 6:20 AM Rusty Rivets S1 Eps #00 1 Rusty's Rex Rescue/Rusty's Park N' Fly

560 TREE / 1560 TREEH shows something else entirely when I view it on my TV or my online Bell guide, is a Rusty Rivets marathon! I took proof arranged into an album at http://imgur.com/a/wRR0y showing the overall and then the individual profiles. I believe this is necessary to demonstrate that the website is in error. Here is what is scheduled to air:

  • 3:20 AM episode 1 "Rusty's Rex Rescue; Rusty's Park N' Fly"
  • 3:45 AM episode 7 "Rusty's Ski Trip Blip; Rusty and the Camp Bandit"
  • 4:10 AM "Rusty's Penguin Problem; Rusty's Sand Castle Hassle" (for some reason it did not list a number)
  • 4:35 AM episode 8 "Rusty Rocks; Rusty's Balloon Blast"
  • 5:05 AM episode 3 "Rusty Dives In; Rusty's Big Top Trouble"
  • 5:25 AM Hey Duggee "The Snowman Badge"
  • 5:35 AM Octonauts "Water Bears"
  • 6:00 AM Splash 'n Boots "Hey"
  • 6:05 AM Tooby & Binoo "Pirate Adventure"
  • 6:20 AM Mike the Knight (and the Glendragon Big Picture, and the Present for Trollee)

This stood out to me because this week I was taping the new MTK episodes which reran at 6:20AM after their debuts the previous night, so 6:20am was out of place for Rusty Rivets to debut.

I can say for sure which is right when Monday comes but I'm pretty confident it's the cable schedule that's right, since making updates is more important to them. I see the one without a number (Penguin Problem / Sand Castle Hassle at 4:10) is not in the list so I will add it. Ranze (talk) 21:18, 12 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

I just removed the above info, I had it scheduled to tape and it was non-Rusty episodes just like the website said, in spite of what the TV guide said. The only episode which did air was Rex Rescue at 6:20 where it said Mike the Knight was. Very glad of Bell's 30 hour replay function on certain programs since it was one I'd seen and didn't tape.

Since the site does seem reliable though, that should mean there will be a marathon tonight (tomorrow morning) instead, though it's going to require some manual taping since the digital TV guide doesn't say that. Ranze (talk) 12:11, 16 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Best edit

Who is Rusty's best friend? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 23.123.78.189 (talkcontribs) 22 January 2017 (UTC)

My bet is on Ruby. Will listen to see if they mention "best" anywhere specifically. ScratchMarshall (talk) 00:42, 6 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
When there's a job to do and stakes are high, ten-year-old Rusty Rivets - along with best bud Ruby - invents his way out of a jam by repurposing everyday items into the wildest, coolest, most awesome contraptions ever!
My instincts were right. Treehouse info confirms. ScratchMarshall (talk) 05:14, 8 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Ruby Rocks not Rusty Rocks edit

Ruby is the primary title. Not Rusty. Whoever replaced this please actually watch the episode before removing information like that. Narrated title card take priority over outdated TV guide descriptions which are merely although title. If we went by those the protagonist of The ZhuZhus wouldnstillnbe called Polly. Should episodes be paired? edit

When the episodes of Rusty Rivets air on Nick Jr. UK and Channel 5, they are always shown separately. However, when episodes of the show come on to Nick Jr. UK On Demand, they are shown together. For example, instead of:

Rusty in Liam Land: (what episode is about here)

(when next episode airs separate):

Rusty the Vacuum Kid: (what episode is about here)

as it is shown on Channel 5 and Nick Jr. UK, on Nick Jr. UK On Demand:

Rusty in Liam Land/Rusty the Vacuum Kid: (what episodes are about here)

the above is shown instead. So, should we pair episodes on the article itself?Logosncompanies (talk) 23:44, 25 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

We should be documenting how they were originally aired, syndication and resales to other markets may choose to package things differently. Geraldo Perez (talk) 23:50, 25 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

But that IS how they were originally aired. -- Logosncompanies (talk) 18:21, 1 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Proposed split out to List of Rusty Rivets episodes edit

A split tag was added.

  • Oppose Unnecessary at this time. Generally don't consider splits until more than one season. And even then should be significant content to be split out to justify one. Geraldo Perez (talk) 02:00, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose – a 22-episode (44-segment) LoE is not enough content to justify a split-out article. --IJBall (contribstalk) 02:03, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
    • Still oppose – most of the episodes listed do not have episode summaries, and a split is not justified under WP:SIZESPLIT. --IJBall (contribstalk) 12:55, 5 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose - Season 2's first 2 episodes were announced. 50% chance on being split, I think. CriticismEdits (talk) 12:30, 27 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Support now - Now that the article has well-referenced information and firm schedules about season 2 it is appropriate do a split. See WP:SPLIT § How to properly split an article and make sure WP:CWW is honored. No real reason to rush this though and it might be best to wait to let the season 2 section firm up a bit and prepare for the split. I suggest wait until we have referenced viewing info for the first episode. WP:TVOVERVIEW suggests an overview section now. A number in season column needs to be added to the season 1 section. Split is easier if prep work done first. Geraldo Perez (talk) 21:08, 27 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
    • Comment: A split at this time is still inappropriate. As per WP:SIZESPLIT, the current episodes table has nowhere near 50–60k of text/prose. Despite the fact that some think it becomes "appropriate" to split out a List of Episodes article just because a series has reached a second season doesn't make it "good" or appropriate practice – you have to look at the total number of episodes, and the amount of prose in episode summaries, before determining whether a split is appropriate. This article is nowhere near that point right now, and may not even get there if there's a third season as things stand currently. So I still oppose a split. --IJBall (contribstalk) 01:53, 28 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
I understand your position. There is no need to split, just that it has reached the 2 season mark where it becomes something to seriously consider and if done properly I personally would not oppose. Still it would be a good idea to get the article ready for a split so it is easy to do when it is decided to split it. Geraldo Perez (talk) 02:34, 28 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Episode update: Two new episodes have been announced, per Zap2it listings. CriticismEdits (talk) 07:59, 12 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
