Picture request

We need a picture for this article... I used to have one of these, but I lost it. --Ravi12346 18:36, 24 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

I've been meaning to get a photo of mine! Maybe this week! :) Tom Ruen 22:33, 27 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

it would be nice to have a section with links to, or at least mention of, similar items. I had one but lost and can't remember the name..no sincgle "goal/solution" but rather (like Rubik's Snake) a toy for creativity to make many shapes...if anyone has names of (or even links to) others, please create a section and list them..--Harel 00:03, 28 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Three Peaks notation

edit

It would be nice if someone checked the notation for the threepeaks, because i always get stuck at 7L2, you cant twist it in. TheGerman06 (talk) 09:28, 24 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Removed unsourced record claim

edit

Removed "The world record was set by Odum with a time of 9.42." Who is Odum, what world record did (s)he set, and 9.42 what? Rojomoke (talk) 10:45, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

No idea who Odum is, but the record is way under 9 or even 7 seconds, he would have to beat 1.76 seconds to get the unofficial record. Qqwref (talk) 00:47, 24 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Qqwref, which shape do the records from the web site you gave have as the final shape? I assume the initial shape is a straight snake? Naki (talk) 13:19, 13 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

jargon

edit

This page is exclusively about how to read the turn-notation. That is useful and all, but it should really have some information about the toy itself. Who made it? When was it released? How well did it do compared to similar toys? HOW DO YOU MAKE THE COBRA? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.181.169.124 (talk) 07:50, 24 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Regarding the cobra, see Wikipedia:NOTHOWTO. Hyacinth (talk) 19:52, 7 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Year of invention?

When? Naki (talk) 20:59, 12 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Good question. The referenced book was published in December 1981 at least! Tom Ruen (talk) 21:08, 12 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
