Hey! Thanks for your response about my question on starting a new Wiki medical Setswana translations page. Regarding your response, however, I don't think the topic would be considered original research since it is translations, which are published in books. I am imagining something like this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_abbreviations_used_in_medical_prescriptions but with the translations. Further thoughts?? Blackwell's Fantasy & SF Stores

The article says that one of Blackwell's specialist shops sells F&SF. I can't find any mention of this on their website. Can anyone confirm? Rojomoke 14:30, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

  • Yes, the Reading store is *very* (almost exclusively) SF, Fantasy, and gaming oriented. When I first went there I assumed they were an indy gaming shop using the Blackwells name, and expressed suprise that the bookshop chain hadn't objected! Callum 08:23, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

I was thinking of putting The Thin Blue Line (emblem) up for AfD, but seeing that you had prodded it – although it was de-prodded shortly after – rather than waste time going though the history, I thought I would ask you directly whether any debate has been carried out here, there or anywhere else, for that matter, regarding this issue. More importantly, as a result of your initial prod, and your comments on the talk page, other than IPs restoring non-encyclopedic content to the article, has any effort made to bring the article in-line with Wikipedia policies? Hi, just a friendly note that I undid your hatting of this [1] thread on the reference desk. While I completely agree that the question was phrased in a way that would encourage violations of WP:CRYSTAL, I also think that we should follow the guideline that says "Generally speaking, answers are more likely to be sanctioned than questions." [2] - that is the page regarding medical advice, but IMO it should apply to prediction and opinion as well. If you see any respondents posting prediction or opinion, I will support removal of such.
