Wrong illustration
editThere are no rotary converters in the photograph captioned "AC to DC plant in Baltimore, Maryland, 1910." The description on Wikimedia Commons is also incorrect. The picture clearly shows a row of 3 in-line compound Corliss steam engines, each with a simple dynamo mounted on the crankshaft just inboard of the flywheel. The valve-gear on the sides of the engines is unmistakable, as is the rectangular format of the cylinder housings. Douglas W. Jones (talk) 14:45, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
