non-notable?

edit

Respectfully, is this person an example of being non-notable? As an individual, he has done fine is his career and is surely someone who made his contribution as a mentor and professional. Has he made notable contributions that merit a Wikipedia page (especially as he is now retired)? Roxanne-snowden (talk) 13:22, 14 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Meets notability under WP:NACADEMIC #6, "The person has held a highest-level elected or appointed administrative post at a major academic institution or major academic society." He was vice-chancellor, the highest appointed administrative post, at Lincoln University, one of the eight universities in New Zealand. Paora (talk) 01:07, 15 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
