Major change of the structure edit

Improving this page with major overhaul. Importance should be higher as many/most drivers from outside Germany (or even the EU) can struggle to find traffic signs. Appreciate any assistance on this page Hanshyde (talk) 14:16, 21 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

These edits have been checked again the following driver education book... "FahrenLernen B - Für Theorie & Praxis, Das Begleitbuch zur Führerscheinausbildung" Verlag Heinrich Vogel, München, in der Springer Fachmedien München GmbG, 12.Afulage April 2017 Hanshyde (talk) 08:27, 26 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
Strong objection I would urgently call for a restore of the state before the changes by Hanshyde – before too many usefull edits are done. The change done by Hanshyde is IMO much less usefull and do not comply with consensus among any other article regarding road signs (see the templates at the bottom)!! -- ZH8000 (talk) 14:56, 6 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
No disrespect, but the version prior to my overhaul had no rhyme or reason other than a direct copy of images in order out of driver education books, resulting redundancy & confusion if not used with the books. I appreciate the edits that were made afterwards improving clarity and ultimately safety of roadway users. Hanshyde (talk) 19:51, 4 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
Is it possible to completely scrap the current 'Road signs in Germany' and replace it with a direct translation of the German version? If this is allowed, I'll be completely up for it (I read pretty fluent German and English and have great knowledge in German road infrastructure). I'm just not sure how to make the references and citations cross-compatible with English (are there different citation rules in different languages?). Anyways, any help on the citation issue would be greatly appreciated. I hope I can improve this page that I've been trying to use lots but I always just return to the German version as it's much better. Thekerbal (talk) 18:08, 14 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Reorganization Problem edit

Want to put forth a suggestion for addressing the 'may be in need of reorganization to comply with Wikipedia's layout guidelines', which I suspect is being highlighted due to this article basically being a list of all signs used in Germany with limited written content like history or design. We could be to move the existing content over to WikiCommons, and then rewrite the page to. Something like this was done for Warning sign and c:Warning sign:, the Wikipedia page was redone with concise written article with a reasonable number of images, while the Commons has the more image intensive documentation of signs in a user friendly format.--The Navigators (talk)-May British Rail Rest in Peace. 06:48, 1 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

why is one ip editing so much edit

a ip adress is one of the most frequent editors here, but im pretty sure someone with this much insistence on editing wikipedia would make a account, it seems like a vandal — Preceding unsigned comment added by Im really bad at this (talkcontribs) 13:46, 2 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
