Recommendations to improve and gain a more neutral tone requested. Sept 2014

edit

I work for Riverbed Technology. We'd like to update this page to include the new product names. We definitely want to be good stewards of Wikipedia and uphold the editorial guidelines. Before we begin, is there anything specifically that we can address to improve the neutral tone? We intend to write in more plain English and use less industry jargon. If there are any specific recommendations, we will adhere to them.

Thank you for your consideration.Maliaga2014 (talk) 14:36, 23 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

I work for Riverbed Technology, I updated the CTO name to Hansang Bae as listed at https://www.riverbed.com/about/leadership.html I know writing about one's own employer is frowned upon but this is just updating a name with a reference so I hope a notice in the talk page is sufficient. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ngufra (talkcontribs) 18:52, 2 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Purpose?

edit

It is unclear what exactly the company does. The information contained in the lede is highly generic and insufficient. Besides all the business blah-blah of the article body, there should be a section about what products and services are in fact offerd.
